Natural woman. Health and beauty.

Our health and beauty depends a lot on our state of mind and our emotions.
It is difficult to control emotions some times, especially when we under a great pressure.
Planning a perfect wedding is a very complicated task.
And after all is done bride has to look and feel radiant and happy!

Luckily there are some things in life that help us to deal with our emotions.
For some it is yoga classes, for some it is walking, for some it is dancing...
But one thing helps and works for everybody and doesn't take too much time.

There are millions of receptors in our nose that are connected to the brain.
How information about smell is coded in the brain to allow for proper perception is still being researched and the process is not completely understood.
But some smells can uplift us somehow and some smells can upset us.
The smells are very powerful, they can suddenly bring good memories back and make one feel happy.

Aromatherapy is always available to help relax your mind, body and spirit. Taking a little time to relax and calm yourself with essential oils can help you cope with daily activities and deal with them more effectively.

Let us look at some aromatherapy recipes how to calm down or to get more positive energy without taking pills and damaging our health.

First thing to try is to surround yourself with the nice smells at home, at work and in the car.

Absolute Bliss
This combination of deeply relaxing lavender and euphoric coriander and bergamot will help calm the body while it elevates your spirit. Perfect after a strenuous or emotionally charged day.
Ingredients
Directions
Add 1 or 2 teaspoons of Aura Cacia skin care oils including jojoba, sweet almond and grapeseed for extra skin-nourishing benefits.

I found for myself that a very old and simple relaxing bath recipe works great:
two handfuls of Epsom Salt
one handful of Sea Salt or better Dead Sea Salt
5 drops of Lavender essential oil
5 drops of Bergamot essential oil
Dissolve salts in the hot bath and add oils.

Epsom Salt or English salt is a great muscle-relaxant and it makes skin incredibly soft.

And of course there are lots of beauty recipes in aromatherapy.

Restoring Rose Facial

Directions:
Apply to the palm of the hand. With the fingers from the other hand apply directly to the face, neck and décolletage
Apply a freshly steamed wash-cloth to the face and keep it there as long as possible.
Repeat as often as possible

Another natures miracles are beeswax, honey and propolis
Together with essential oils beeswax, honey and propolis  can be used as excellent face creams and balms.

Moisturing Vitamin E Cream

4 oz. sweet almond oil
1 oz. beeswax
2 oz. water
10 drops Vitamin E oil
10 drops lavender essential oil

Melt the oil and the wax in a double boiler, Remove from heat, add water, and stir thoroughly.
Add your Vitamin E, essential oil and stir continuously until cool. This cream is very moisturising and emollient.
It is nice for rough, dry, or chapped complexions and should help promote healthy looking skin.
After you have added the essential oil and the cream is still warm enough to pour, carefully pour it into Salve Jars or Metal Tins, we offer both below.

Antiseptic Balm ( Use instead of antiseptic ointment, this is far superior! )
Ingredients:
2 ounces Beeswax
3 ounces Sweet Almond Oil
1 ounce Jojoba Oil
20 drops Wheatgerm Oil
20 drops Myrrh Essential Oil
20 drops Tea Tree Essential Oil

( Makes enough to fill 4 each 1 ounce salve jars or 1 ounce metal tins )

A rule of thumb is 2 parts oil to one part beeswax. Simply heat the Sweet Almond and Jojoba oil in a saucepan and add Beeswax. If you want a thin consistency ( such as a cream or Vaseline ) add only a little bit of Beeswax. Want it thicker like wax? Just add more Beeswax.
Allow the base to cool down to see what the consistency is like. If it's too thick, add more Sweet Almond oil and reheat, too thin, add more Beeswax.

Coconut Butter Body Moisturiser ( Good for wind and sunburned skin )
Ingredients
2 tablespoons beeswax
2 teaspoons distilled water
4 oz. cocoa butter
4 tablespoons sweet almond
2 tablespoons coconut oil

Melt the beeswax over low heat with the water. Spoon in cocoa butter and blend. Gradually blend in oils. Pour into glass jar.
The lotion will thicken as it cools.

 LIP GLOSS
2 teaspoons beeswax
2 tablespoons, sweet almond oil or coconut oil
5 drops essential oil (such as orange, lemon, grapefruit, tangerine, coconut or mint)
2 drops vitamin E capsule
Melt the oil and beeswax together. Remove from heat. When the mixture has cooled to lukewarm, stir in essential oil and the vitamin E. Transfer to a small container.

Take care of yourself.
Enjoy!
